I'm pretty sure this is a dragonfly - someone please correct me if I'm wrong. I read that a massive outbreak of cicadas was about to happen in the midwest, but I don't think I could tell a cicada from a dragonfly. Either way, this winged creature was on my screen window early one morning & didn't even twitch as I snapped a few photos.

It is a Dragon Fly. A "Damsel Fly" looks similar but only has two wings.
I saw one of these and this color at a muskrat swamp. It looked more black and white perhaps but similar.
