the longest day

Today is the summer solstice. Even though it has been hot & humid in these parts for a few weeks now, today we slide into summer while our friends in the southern hemisphere welcome winter.
I went out last night to get a photo of one of the most beautiful sunsets in recent memory - the last sunset of spring.

longest day means shortest night - a good day to get married? Well we're still together after 33 years.

BEAUTIFUL...as is Wisconsin. I grew up going to family reunions in Beloit. Haven't been thru Madison in 5 years. I used to ski on those lakes too. Thanks for capturing a moment of the universe's splendor.
