green wave
The spirea are in full bloom in Madison now - this road has one after the other as far as you can see. My clever husband pointed out that it looks like a green wave, hence the title. (He's handy to have around sometimes.)

For a bush, spirea is nice, and some of the newer ones, called such things as, "Japanese" are even prettier with leaves that have curly edges. I like them too but still have some of the old ones like your photo. I like the picture.
A mama to two spirited boys under 5, wife to an amazing man with a sensitive soul. An English expat in the midwest. All about growing a family and nurturing these incredible children.
