Finally, a surplus of rain. July was extremely dry - verging on drought conditions - while August has had more that it's fair share. The only downside - here come the mosquitos...

Glad you got rain but sorry about the mosquitoes. We haven't had to worry about mosquitoes this summer, so I guess a drought does have a plus here or there!
I like the shot - we have had a warm,humid summer - but no bites yet!
Join the club here in not so sunny blighty we've had our fair share and some. Not too many mosquitoes though.
