gates of heaven



A beautiful little temple right on the shores of Lake Mendota. It has quite a colourful history, which is detailed in the second photo. And what a great name for a house of worship...

It's really great to see that the community supported saving this landmark, especially in the early 70s when not much thought was given to tearing down old buildings. Nice pic/history and congrats on 100 posts!

What a beautiful church --umm synagogue?---I have never seen one that looks so much like a church.
