A (hopefully) daily view of the beautiful city of Madison, Wisconsin from an English woman's perspective.

Guess the object...
...It's a pretty cool bike rack outside Madison pizza institution, the Glass Nickel. Now that I think about it, I don't often see any bikes locked to it, which makes me think that not many people know what it is either...
Perhaps the students are too tired to ride bikes after hitting the books (and the bars!). Thanks for visiting my Mazatlan site. I was born in Door County, grew up in Green Bay, flew for North Central Airlines (to and thru Madison) many moons ago, now live in St. Paul, and visit Mexico in the winter. Now that's more than you asked for---did you ask?! Come visit again; I'm so glad that Madison now has a blogger.
thats funny - I like what you wrote - I actually knew what it was since I bike so much and bike racks are often times hard to find so I end up locking my bike on those "do not park" car signs.
A mama to two spirited boys under 5, wife to an amazing man with a sensitive soul. An English expat in the midwest. All about growing a family and nurturing these incredible children.
Here is our life, simplified.

It must be the weather - I posted a bike-themed photo too!
