Winter returns for an encore

Much as I wish it weren't so, I did actually take this photo today - April 11th! Probably Wisconsin's most unpredictable season, spring can veer from this kind of weather to 70 degrees and sunny from week to week.

We're getting it in Minneapolis today too.

So this is your brother sat in North London in rather warmer weather - it's about 17 centigrade! Really nice shot though. In a warped way I kind of think it would be nice to be stood in the picture - wrapped up warm of course - we just don't get snow that stays around. XXX R

Also we got a plenty of snow today, but it is not rare here in April.
Welcome to this nice DPB family!

Looking forward to your city photos; Madison is a lovely town! Welcome aboard. Yes, the scene is too familiar here in MN!

this is so pretty... it almost makes the current weather situation tolerable.

Hey! I know that view! I saw it on my way home. And the wind has been something fierce as well, uprooting the tree in front of my appartment building. But I heard a rumor from Channel 15 that it will be in the 60s next week.

Did you step out in the cold, take the photo, then run back inside? That's what I would have done. Either that or I would have take a photo through a window.

Denton - funnily enough I did take a few through the car window (feeling very silly) but for the shot I ended up posting I did actually get out and face the elements for about 15 seconds- totally ridiculous!

Chris,
at first, taking pictures from a car is not ridiculous, because of your camera. All cameras did not bear very well cold !My camera was broken in cold.
And then, thanks for visiting my blog. You told something about Oulu.It made me smile - I am born in Oulu, but Oulu in Finland.
Oulu has got it`s own DPB, Pirjo is doing it.
I will be back here :)

We have had enough snow to last two winters. If you like it then good. I like your photo of it up there.
